Nishu Karki, MD, is an internal medicine specialist at Bella Terra Primary Care. Dr. Karki was inspired to become a doctor by her father. He is also a doctor, so it was natural for her to follow his path. She graduated from medical school in her native country of Nepal. She then completed residency at Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center in Brooklyn, New York, and practiced medicine as a hospitalist for over 10 years in Pennsylvania and California.
Dr. Karki met their husband in residency and moved to California to be close to family. She loves to garden, bake, and hike in her spare time. She currently resides in Huntington Beach with her husband, Dr. David Telles, and their two daughters.
